Hi, all! Have been off the line for a while, indulging myself in ferret
math. My daughter's fellow, Stinky has been lonely. So, about a year ago,
I "just for a look" went into a pet store. Saw two little fuzzbutts that
were as cute as can be. Couldn't decide which one I wanted most, realized
they needed each other as much as any human. Bought 'em both, called them
Bill and Hilary. Bill is as affectionate as can be and a "Hail fellow,
well-met" type. Hilary is fast, nervous, and loves to steal little
trinkets. Then has the gall to look surprised when caught with said
trinkets. Thought that would be the end of ferret math.

Guess again. My daughter is now babysitting another little girl, Romper,
shortened to Romy. Came to us for a while, thin and lethargic from a diet
of cat food. Three other fuzzbutts to chase with and exercise with and lots
of Totally Ferret, now she is a fast, lithe little beauty with the lickiest
(sic) tongue in the house.

Re: Have a lovely leather chair, my business of four hasn't put a mark on
it. However, they have gotten into the bottom of it and made nests,
rearranged the padding some. Can't get a covering over the open areas due
to the complexity of the bottom. But, it is a wonderful game--I try to
ferret-proof, they try it and point out my errors.
