Sometime ago, some of you may remember my question about coughing
ferrets....well, to date, Foster, a year(?)old male rescue of probable MF
descent still has these coughing fits. If anyone has ever heard the heavy
honking of an asthmatic it is very similar. If I place him in a small
dressing area with a warm vaporizer going, his breathing improves
substantially, but only temporarily. We have completed a regimen of
antibiotics with no effect....I don't know what conditions he was kept in
prior to my obtaining him several mos. ago. These fits can occur upto
several times a day and sometimes not for two weeks. Anyone with clues out
there?????????

best wishes,
alphachi
