ello everyone, I Just wanted to lnow if anyone out there has had a serious
problem with their ferrets and chocolate. I should probably elaborate for
you. Kitty used to get a little bit of chocolate now and then until I read
that it was real bad for her. She would beg and beg until she got a taste.
Well, about three weeks ago, she got ahold of a Keebler Fudge Grahm Cracker.
She WOULD NOT let go for the life of her. She hiss and tossed her head so I
couldnt take it. It's getting worse!! Just this evening she was able to
make it to the top of my shelved in the bedroom where the toostie rolls are.
I heard some rusting so I came to find out what it was. There she was on
the top shelf with a tootsie roll in her mouth. I couldnt help but laugh,
she just looked so cute. The problem came when I tried to take it away from
her, she went beserk!!! I have never seen her like this. She hissed and
she sounded like I was trying to kill her. I just wanted the tootsie roll.
I had to finally call my boyfriend in to help, and he tried to scruff her
while I pried her mouth open. All the while, she was just Shrieking.
I cant express how weird she was. Usually she is just my little baybee.
Then she turns into this SCREAMING wild ferret. I really dont know how to
expain it. I am really wondering if the reason that she is reacting like
this has to do with a medical reason. Has anyone out there had a similar
experiance? I would really like to know that my little cuddle isnt the only
one out there with a multiple personality.
Thanks
Kirsten, Kitty ( the chocolate feind) and Lynus..
