Tail and OxyClens

Two of my ferrets have acne on their tails, so I bought some OxyClens
shampoo at the vet clinic the other day.  How often should I be washing
their tails with it?  One of the ferrets, Norm, has a slightly swollen tail.
Should I be doing anything else besides washing it?  Any info would be
wonderful.
