Hi again,
Sorry for the second post I had a call from a lady without computer access
on a problem.
Here goes:
She has two ferrets male & female 6 yrs old. they were raised together and
have gotten along fine , until lately. The male has begun to pick on the
girl at night. He will latch on to her throat or neck and stay ( he even
goes back to sleep in this position) meanwhile she is crying to be let go!
This is happening very late at night ( 2or 3 a.m.) There have been no
changes in the household. Both are freerange . The vet has put the female
on a diet due to a bit of weight gain but both are getting extra attention
so jealously would not be a problem. There have been no medical problems
and no hair loss. The vet is at a loss as to why he does this. Does anyone
out there have any suggestions?
thanks in advance
