Hi all,
 
This may seem like a silly question.  I have a MF ferret.  He has the 2 dots
in his ear, so I thought that this meant that he was neutered and
desecented.  What I need to know is exactly where the scent glands would be
located.
 
Coco has a huge lump on his rear end, right close to where he "poops".  Is
this a scent gland that was not removed or is this a lump.  This is not
interfering with anything.
 
I just noticed this lump yesterday, yes over a holiday weekend, so we won't
be going to the vet until Tuesday.  In the meantime, I am worrying like
crazy.  I am very good at worrying.
 
Any info would be appreciated
