Help!  my ferret's in heat!  i need to know if you can get a ferret fixed
once their in heat.  if not, then i need to right away find a whole male
ferret in Michigan.  I live in Kalamazoo.  I am willing to drive to reach
one, but not out of state unless youd meet me somewhere.
 
My ferret is, well, i dont know exactly how old she is at the time, but she
just went into heat for the first time.  she is my 1st ferret.  she is a
dark sable female, and very sweet.  Also if i cant get her fixed, then does
anyone know of a really good website or book about breeding.
