One of our ferrets, Jodeci, had adrenal surgery and lost all of his hair
afterwards.  His new coat is looking really good now, but he has more dark
tips in his white fur then he did before.  (He is a dark-eyed white.) But
the really strange thing is the hair on his tail: it's taking longer to grow
back, and now he has dark rings, almost like a racoon!  Pretty cute trick.
