My best friends' ferrets did the same thing about a year ago.  The Austin
Police Department didn't *call* however, they went by and knocked on the
door.  One guy was hidden back behind the outside stairs at her apartment
with his gun drawn!  They were NOT amused.  Change those speed dials.  I
heard some police departments will fine you for false alerts!
