My 18 month grand-daughter is learning to talk. At present this is
vocabulary of a little over a dozen words; parent and grandparent common
names, "kitty", and a few phrases used by Winnie the Pooh. We just branched
out into new ground. She was looking into the ferret cage, which we keep in
the living room, points with one finger and says "weeeeeezul".
We're on our way - now she has at least mastered an important part of the
English language. No one should go through life without understanding the
importance of a "weeeeezul" ;)
