A thought just came to me tonight while watching QVC.  They were selling
Rid-X ultrasonic pest control units that plug in outlets, theory being
untrasonic sounds will repel insects (roaches, spiders), rodents (showed a
gerbil reacting to it).
 
Experts, anyone?  What is the hearing range of ferrets, and would such as
this affect them?
