I can second the info someone gave on pennyroyal being a bug repellent. I
live in an apartment in buggy, Memphis, TN and last year I planted one large
pot of pennyroyal and one citronella plant (that grew to be HUGE) and put
them out on my balcony. We have had a terrible problem with bugs in the
past (ants and roaches/palmetto bugs), but last year, we had almost none.
No ants at all and the pennyroyal and citronella smell nice too. I have put
out 2 pots of pennyroyal along with my citronella this year hoping to
completely eradicate the problem. I am a big believer in it (and so is my
SO after last summer!). Give it a try.

Give all your babies a kiss for me!
Tatia
