Scooter "Toots in Cahoots" Benedum left for the Rainbow Bridge April 5,
1997, upon receiving a mercy shot after more than eight years of life on
this plane, concluding in a severely deteriorated physical condition. She
departed in the company of Alan Ginsburg, who was heard promising to write a
poem in honor of all brave ferrets. The FLO raises its paws in salute.
Scoots is survived by her companion of five years, Shredni "The Shred Man"
Benedum, age approximately seven years, her loving humans, Rainey and
Stormin, and her feline companions, Cairbre and Angel.

All energies of love and caring should be directed toward the nearest
ferret rescue and shelter service.
