You might point your vet at the Fox book on ferret medicine.  It has a
longish section on CDV.  The recommendations from United Vaccines (Fervac-D)
is three shots three weeks apart.  I would hesitate to recommend the two
week interval based on the FOX book's comments on how easily over dosing the
vaccine gives a variation of distemper itself.  I don't have the Hilyer book
in front of me so I can't look up what it says.  Does your vet have these
two books?  They would certainly be a good start.  We can provide full
titles and publishers if needed.
