Last week I wrote in about my 3 yo sprite MF named roxie. She had weird
symptoms(listing to her side after a few steps not eating or drinking and no
interest in playing or out of cage time) a day after her annual distemper
shot.

She went to the vets and the vet kept roxie a few days. After awhile and a
lot of tests (all negative thank god) Roxie got better on her own! She came
home after 2 days and all she is taking is amoxicillian (sp?) twice a day.
She is back to her old self and her cage mate Jake is very happy now.

All the vet could think of was that Roxie may have had a vague slight
infection and the trauma of her shot made her infection worsen.

Has anyone heard of this?

I am just glad she is home and better!

Oh and Meltdown's mommy I roxie and Jake feel for you and have you in our
prayers.

Maggie (Jake, roxie,Fred the parrot and patches the dog)
