So you want to know why ferrets like velcro? I was kind of waiting for
Marshmallow to tackle this one (in my humble opinion, the picture of
Marshmallow wearing specs alone is worth the whole price of an issue of
Modern Ferret), but since leaping into voids is one of my specialties, here
goes. I would have thought you humans would have figured it out by now,
what with all the discussion of ferret dental care of late, but then, humans
have never been famous for the level of mental agility we ferrets take for
granted.
Anyway, what you guys call velcro, we ferrets call dental floss! In fact,
now that I've revealed that, you can probably see where plucking endlessly
at velcro does a pretty good job of keeping our pointy little teeth nice and
clean. Don't you just hate flossing? Bet you wish you had pointy teeth
like we do. Bet the velcro guy does too. Then he could get another patent
on mega-velcro (bigger loops for bigger teeth) and become a double
millionaire.
