I've a good one.
 
While visiting relatives in the Bronx, NY, we were walking with Maggie on my
shoulder.  A little boy walked by with his parents and said: "Look mom, he's
got a squirrel on a leash!"
 
Now Maggie didn't happen to have a bushy tail at the moment, or even the
right coloring.  The sad thing was that the parents were just as clueless.
