There's a new cable channel that's part of the Discovery stations. It's
called Animal Planet & it's all animals, all the time. Some of the shows
include Petcetera, The Animal Connection (w/Dr. Pukay), Human Nature, an
English show about the practice of a modern country vet called The Vet, The
Crocodile Hunter - a REAL Crocodile Dundee, & the old animal series like
Lassie & Flipper. The nature shows are excellent, beautifully filmed &
informative. If you don't get it, their advertisement says to contact your
local cable company & tell them you want Animal Planet.
You can check to see if your cable company offers Animal Planet in their
programming by going to their web site at: www.animal.discovery.com
You can also e-mail them at: http://www.animal.discovery.com/writeus.html
This seems like another good forum to get the word out about the dingdongs
in CA. I started it, who's next?

Correction
I posted in Issue number: 1824 Date: 24 Jan 1997 the following:
- GA's only requirements to legally own ferrets are that it is
neutered/spayed by 7 months of age, & that it is vaccinated against rabies
w/an approved vaccine by 12 weeks of age.
It should have read:
- GA's only requirements to legally own ferrets are that it is
neutered/spayed by 7 months of age, & that it is vaccinated against rabies
w/an approved vaccine by 12 weeks of age or older & every year thereafter.
