My naughty boy, Pepper, has graduated from ferret college! :) I've trained
my ferrets to come to a squeaky toy ... we'll squeak, they come, we give
them Ferretone. Then what usually happens is I put them all in the cage.
Last night Pepper skipped the "go to the squeaker" part and went right to
the cage! :) My daughter was searching for him elsewhere in the house, he
heard the squeaky toy and came to me by the cage! O_O Aren't they just the
coolest pets? They never stop learning and changing. Naturally he got an
extra drop of oil!
And my little deaf ferret has made the connection between me and oil. She
follows me around and looks up at me to see if I have the oil! She also
knows when we're squeaking and handing out Ferretone by watching the rest
of the ferrets. The only time she misses squeaky-time is when she's sound
asleep.
