I just want to let you all know I went on the radio in Washington, DC (WASH -
97.1FM) this morning defending Kodo.  The radio staff read the USA Today
paper account and voted the ferret should be put down, without the facts
(how typical).
 
I couldn't change their minds, but I did educate a few listeners about
rabies and there are many ferret supporters out here.
 
When the results come back negative (if the execution takes place)- I'll
call the radio station back again and let them know an innocent animal died
for silly human fears again.
