Niki, I hope Sassy is feeling better.  It sounds like you're doing the right
things, but if you haven't already, you need to take her to your vet and get
her on amoxycillin to prevent any secondary infections.  My heart goes out
to you--it's a hard road but have faith, she'll make it through.
