PITTSBURGH PA FERRET SHOW MEETING
 
Hi Everyone!
 
As I mentioned in a previous post, there is going to be a ferret show in the
Pittsburgh/Western PA area on September 6th.  A planning meeting for the
show will be held this weekend, and everyone is invited to attend.  Details
regarding the meeting are as follows:
 
The meeting is going to be held at 2pm on Sunday March 2nd.  It will be held
at the house of a friend of Janice Moore (of the PA Ferret Association).
 
Directions from the Turnpike:
Take the turnpike to Exit 7 (Irwin/Greensburg).  Get on Rt. 30 going towards
Greensburg.  You will stay on Rt.  30 for a while (past the Westmorland and
Eastgate malls, past the Latrobe airport).  Just under a bridge/overpass,
you will see Rt. 982 (Darion/Latrobe).  Turn right on Rt. 982, heading
towards Latrobe.  Stay on Rt. 982 through 1 light.  You will pass over 2
sets of railroad tracks.  The LA Lounge will be on the corner.  At this
point, you will turn left on to Lincoln Rd.  Go 1/2 mile.  You will see a
McDonalds on your right.  At this point, you will turn right on to Josephine
Rd.  Go 1 block, and turn left on to Raymond Rd.  The meeting is in the
second house on the left.  It is a small white ranch house, address 1933
Raymond Rd.
 
Since Janice Moore is hosting the event, it would be nice if you could give
her a call to confirm that you will be coming.  (She asked that I post her
number.) You can reach Janice at (412) 861-8482 (she runs a cleaning
service, so you will hear a message for it on her machine if she is not in).
She can also give you better directions!  : )
