Hi, all! Due to numerous problems with my email account lately, I have
requested that it be deleted and reconstructed from scratch, with a
different email name (username).

So, sometime today, my email will cease to function, and then be
reconstituted. My new email address will be [log in to unmask] Sorry...
Ferret had already been taken! :(

BIG: If you could kindly reset my subscription to go to that address and
ignore bounces for a day or so, I'd appreciate it. I have to get this
settled down, and this is the only way we could do it.

On a different note, Smudge got himself sick. He started vomiting partially
digested food, and had the black tarry stools, indicative of a blockage. I
gave him a full finger-length (I have LARGE hands!) of Femalt, and an hour
later, he had a very muddy baby-pooh green stool. He started coughing, so I
set him on the left-over meds (a light-weight anti-biotic) from Cayanne when
she got a respiratory infection.

His stools have firmed up, and are perfectly normal. He has stopped
coughing and is no longer vomiting. He is drinking LOTS AND LOTS of water,
so I know he isn't dehydrated (I did the scruff check for dehydration, and
he's just fine). This morning, water drinking was normal again... so if he
WAS dehydrated, he took care of it.

I never did discover what he'd eaten that had done this to him. Perhaps
since it is coat changing season it was a hairball... but if it was, I
haven't seen it yet. I am monitoring him, and for now, he seems as hale and
hearty as ever. Everyone else is doing just fine, and the litterbox is
filling at the standard rate :P and is normal.

Hope all is well with you and your fuzzies!

Respectfully,

Bryan Hall
