Not long ago Loki was almost in a similar predicament. I was sitting on
the couch, not 5 feet from her, when she decided that what she really
wanted to do was climb my stereo speaker. She was standing on a box or
some such thing, got her toe caught in the speaker mesh and lost her
footing. She made such a sound as I have never heard before. I jumped
up, ran over and grabbed her so that she wasn't putting any weight on
her toenail, but was having great difficultly getting her loose because
her nail had twisted when she lost footing. I was scared to death.
Thankfully I got her un-stuck, toenail still in one piece. And darn if
that little stinker wasn't thrashing aroung to get down and play
