Can't remember if this has already been mentioned ... but how about rubbing
corn starch into her fur/skin?  When kids are itchy with chicken pox, the
doctor recommends giving them corn starch baths.  I think corn starch is
supposed to cut back on itching ... and it's natural enough that I'm sure it
would be safe for her, even if she got a bit in her mouth .... Hope this
helps!
