Dear FML,
Yesterday someone commented on people un-subscribing from the FML. I
confess, the thought crossed my mind. I got my first ferret in March, and
second in April. They are my companions, and I love them so much. I had
final exams last week and couldn't get to my FML reading until Friday. As I
read the FML in chronological order, I found myself skimming and skipping
more and more articles. When I read the news of Kodo's death, I was
overcome with grief. I deleted the rest of my back-reading, and considered
un-subscribing. Luckily sanity prevailed, and recognizing the threat to my
own weezils that this situation represents, I decided that it would be
prudent to stay connected to this "Ferret Lifeline" as it is. I am simply
overwhelmed by the quantity of information on how to help prevent any future
Kodo situations. As people go on, and on about how to organize a ferret
activist group, I begin skimming again. People like me are followers, so
point me in the right direction. I can't figure out what to do to help my
fuzzies. I am suffering from too much information. There are some very
smart people here, I am not one of them.
Dawn, who loves Thelma and Laweasel, and can't think of Kodo without tears
in her eyes.
