I continue to see discussion and questions occasionally about ferret
weights. With 36 of the little fuzzies running through our house, we have
quite a variety of sizes. So just for fun I weighed my biggest and smallest
of each gender:

Females - smallest Females - largest

Pepper (sable) just under 1 1/4 lbs. Romey (light silver) 3 1/4 lbs.
                                          Natasha (silver mitt) 3 lbs.

Males - smallest Males - largest

Parming (albino) 2 lbs. Timmy (sable) 4 1/2 lbs.
                                          Dinky (sable mitt) 4 lbs.

All these ferrets are healthy, with no illness affecting weights, and all
are spayed/neutered.
