I'm sure I've seen ferrets and catnip mentioned before, but I had to share.
 
Yesterday as I was trying to wear Loki out before her bath I thought perhaps
I would try one of the toys my kitty got in a secret santa exchange because
it has a string.  Which meant Loki would chase it but I could keep a hold of
it and not have to drage it out of the hidey hole.  Well, I had forgotten
the toy was a nip toy.  Loki went nuts Dooking!  She kept trying to stash
the toy and was chasing it all over the place!
 
Then I got out some of the catnip I keep for my cat and the outside kitties.
I was about to give some to the outside kitties when lo and behold Loki
managed to make me spill it all over myself (and I do mean all over).
Anway, she got in the middle of it and sniffed, jumped away and started
dooking and kept repeating that over and over until I managed to catch her
and tried to clean up.
 
Do other ferrets love catnip so?  I've never seen her go crazy over anything-
and she is really particular about treats.  The only thing she likes is
peanut butter.
