Hello all,
 
I was discussing various dietary concerns with our veterinarian and she
raised an interesting question about baby foods.
 
>P.S.  Some baby foods (Gerber) add onion powder to their product, which in
>cats has been shown to cause Heinz body anemia.  don't know if it affects
>ferrets the same way, but might be something to be cautious about if using
>baby foods in ferret formulas.
 
Is anyone aware problems with onion powder in ferrets?
