Do you understand what you've done?  You've damaged many people who may be
innocent of these serious charges.  You just might be responsible for
ruining a Good Thing.  But you don't know, because you didn't check your
facts before you inflicted your wounds.
 
You've done a very Bad Thing.  You've spread fear, uncertainty, and dread in
this poor troubled world.  You've hurt without knowing whether the
recipients deserved the hurt.
 
You must find out whether the things you heard are true or not.  Only then
will you know how best to act.  The "great deal of thinking" you gave the
matter is completely meaningless without information about what you're
thinking about.
 
I sincerely hope you find a way to make up for your bad deed.  I'm sure
there is at least one within your power, which is considerable.
