Greetings Eden & the fuzzy lumps in Seattle,
 
I received my Ferrets Anonymous newsletter in the mail yesterday and was
surpised to read a comment that the Sierra Club is against the legalization
of ferrets in California.  Can anyone elaborate on this?  I like the sierra
club in general & dont like to think that they stand on the wrong side of
this important matter.
 
Also I saw Jeanne Carley's note that Californians need to start writing to
their legislative representatives, but I'd like to know what we
non-californians can do to help at this juncture.  I dont think there's a
point in calling the Governors office again: they were incredibly rude to me
the last time I called on this issue.  I honestly beleive that Mr Wilson is
a dead end for us & that energy is best spend trying to convince folks with
more open minds.  (I'm so glad I left California before he bacame governor!)
