I really appreciate that people are willing to let other owners about the
accidents that occured in their home. Since reading about one ferret
breaking his neck and another one getting trapped in a bahtroom tissue roll,
I tear them up in case they get hold of the wastebacket (which they did a
few times). Boum Boum is the type of ferret that push in nose into
something and then push it around. I try to put the mugs & plastic bottles
out of his reach to make sure he will not break his neck.

I am planning to add on my French web page a section on accidents that
happened in our household & elsewhere in order to prevent accidents. I am a
bit concerned that some people might think we are careless but I find it
impossible to have a home ferret proofed 100% of the time. I would not want
to lose a ferret to an accident. We lost our first ferret to sickness over
2 years ago & I still miss her.
