Hi everyone!! I have not been reading for awhile and boy, did Imiss it!!
Glad to be back....anyway...I spoke with my vet last week and she informed
me that ferrets are now legal in Omaha....They were never really legal or
illegal...It was strange...She spoke with the humane society and they told
her that if there was a bite incident with a ferret who had their rabies
shot...the ferret would be quarrantined at the shelter...not at the home as
with dogs and cats with their rabies shot. Can we believe this entirely? I
don't know...i'm only repeating what I've heard. Please keep your
fuzzbuddies innoculated to keep them safe!! I carry their tags as well as
innoculation papers with them while we venture out...just in case.
I recently adopted a spayed momma cat and one of her 4 month old kittens.
The gal who was fostering had 2 ferrets so they are used to these crazy
furballs. I just wonder what these cats think? :) All seems to be well for
now....I'm worried that my Tyler is a little bit jealous...so I need to give
hime extra attention...even though he does not like to be cuddled. Oh
well,,,, I love him for it!!
I'm thinking of all the sick babies....and praying....
Jodi, "Peanut", "Tyler" and now.... "Gia Marie and Kali Ann" (Possible names)
