Thank you Big,  once again I'm even deeper into debt to you and this
wonderful FML.
 
I'm sure that everyone is sick to death of hearing this, but WE NEED MONEY!!
 
This entire situation no-longer is about Kodo, or me, or ferret rights, or
civil rights, it's 100% political and I'M SICK OF IT.
 
Here in Michigan we've just raised the speed limits.  Now if I exceed the
speed limit I'm cited for breaking the law and have to pay a healthy sized
fine to atone for my indescretion.  Now it's a documented fact that Michigan
law states "...shall handle the ferret in accordance with CURRENT published
guidelines of the centers of disease control and prevention." however, the
"powers that be" are using the 1992 standards as published even though they
have been superceded 5 times with more current releases.  If the law states
"CURRENT" and there is a more recent update than the 1992 they keep
insisting they're using then who is right???
 
The 1997 Compendium states in part "...Management of animals other than dogs
and cats depends on the species, the circumstances of the bite, the
epidemiology of rabies in the area, and the biting animal's history, current
health status, and potential for exposure to rabies." Can someone point out
to me where it states KILL AND TEST????
 
Since this case has gone political I'm afraid expenses have skyrocketed.  I
know well that some of you have donated several times.  I realize that money
is tight (I've not been able to work for two weeks because of this, don't
even tell me about money being tight).  I've never been a "fundraiser" and
don't have the "magic tongue or touch" and I've never in my life seen such a
screwed up situation.  Unfortunatly the only way this is ever gonna get
rectified is to put out the big bucks and follow through.  Anybody out there
wanna buy a boat, an old pickup, a tent or anything else I have it's for
sale.  I WILL NOT QUIT!!!!
 
BIG  thank you for letting me spout off.  This whole thing truly shows how
mis-directed our government officials are.
