Unfortunately, I have not been able to follow up with Kodo's story. I pray
that he is turned back over to his rightful owner. I do, however, make this
pact:
If one of my ferrets happened to bite someone, that ferret would
immediately be destroyed by myself and fed to the dogs out of pure
rage. I would make sure that the dogs devoured (I can't spell at
1:30 in the morning--so excuse me) the ferret.
Of course there is no way in hell that I would do this. But how is animal
control to know otherwise. "I don't know what happened to the ferret's
carcass. "
Would others not do the same? At worse, they can only fine me and/or put me
in jail. But my little one wouldn't be on trial for his/her life.
You will have to excuse my ignorance on this subject, as I've only been in
the "ferret scene" since they became legal in GA a few years ago. My
question is: What has been done besides talk? Have there really been
serious funds for supporting these issues? Have there ever been fund
raisers from which 110% of proceeds go to a fund to help out animals? I
have seen so many organizations such as the ASPCA that recieve membership
fees (by me) and donations. It's hard for me to believe that they are using
their funds wisely. Perhaps the top members in such organizations are more
interested in politics than the welfare of living beings. If I am wrong in
my views, than please forgive me. It's just hard for me to swallow that
millions of dollars couldn't build large no-kill animal facilities in at
least a few states.
If anyone wants to discuss these issues with me..

Oh, yeah, one more thing.....I used to be all for capital punishment until I
thought of a better way. Stop the animal medical testing. Do it on these
convicts!! What better way to monitor the effects of a deadly virus than to
inject it inside a human!!!!!
