I looked forever and then someone told me about a pet shop in Reno called
The Little Wilderness.  I don't know how far you are from Reno.  I am in the
SF bay area and it was about a two hour drive for me.  I just hid him really
well when we crossed the border.  They take wonderful care of the ferrets
there, handle them a lot and they are very sweet little guys...
