I called the vet that did Cassidy's splenectomy and asked for his opinion.
He was much nicer and seemed genuinely concerned about Cassidy.  He said
that I should keep a close check on his stools and bring him in if there is
any blood or black spots.  I guess I'll leave it at that for now and keep a
close check on him for any changes.  I will be in the town where that vet is
next weekend and may drop him by for a stoll check just for my peace of
