Hi all, My ferret has gone missing.  Myc's not in the house - at least not
in any way that we can detect him.  The only thing I can figure is that he
must have got out yesterday morning when I left for work (I can't imagine
overlooking him but....).  Anyway, we have put out fliers, called animal
control, and the animal welfare shelters listed in the yellow pages.  Are
there any ferret shelters in my area that I can call??  I am near West
Orange NJ.  I have the garage door propped open so he can get in if he
happens to wonder back.  Also a box with a blanket on the porch and a piece
of banana.  We are walking the neighborhood periodically.  Anybody think of
anything else I should be doing?!!  I can't believe this has happened.  I've
had ferrets for 20yrs all told without losing one.  I want him to come home.
I miss him.
