We have the best ferrets in the world!  Unfortunately, I am allergic to
them, and our work schedules keep us from giving them as much love and
attention as they need.  For these two reasons we have come to the painful
decision of offering them for sale to a ferret lover.  We live in the
Phildelphia, PA area.
 
Both ferrets are neuterred and descented males and are best of friends.  We
will only consider selling them together as cage mates.
 
Boshi is a 17 month old sable and is almost 3 lbs!  He is the cuddliest
ferret in the world.  He will lie at our feet when we're working on the
computer, he'll follow us around and flop at our feet in hopes of being
picked up and stroked under the chin and around the ears.  He often sleeps
in our laps when we give him the chance.  He also LOVES to wrestle with us,
and knows not to bite or scratch when doing so.  He is VERY affectionate.
Besides needing a lot of human companionship, Boshi is a very low
maintenance ferret -- he rarely climbs, doesn't jump, okay, he loves to dig
in the couch cussions, but he is a ferret.
 
Mazik is just about Boshi's exact opposite.  He is a 3 year old silver Panda
with a lean whippit body.  He's energetic and loves to dance.  He has one of
the most adorable stances and gaits I've ever seen in a ferret.  He is
currious about everything and will risk life and limb to climb, jump.  or do
whatever it takes to get at whatever holds his fancy.  He'll allow you to
pick him up, he may even let you hold him for three seconds, but then it's
"okay lady, I love you, bye-bye." He loves to play chase.  He is fanatical
about keeping his toys in their designated corners.  Our favorite company
entertainment is dragging Mazik's stuffed frog (three times his size) into
the middle of the floor and wacthing him man-handle that thing back into its
corner in record time.
 
Boshi and Mazik play and wrestle together and sleep curled up together, but
Mazik can be a bit of a loner sometimes, so either having a person, or
better yet other ferrets to play with is something Boshi really needs.
 
$250 and lots of love for our little guys will get you the two ferrets, a
large 3 tier cage complete with two washable hammocks (so you always have a
clean one), a travel cage with hammocks, three litter boxes, some ferretone,
ferret-proffing wire mesh, two food dishes that screw on to the side of the
cage, a water bottle, whatever food and litter we have left over, and their
favorite toys.
