Hi everyone...

I am responding to Dave and Byron. I have 6 fuzzies that are in 3 different
age groups ( 1yr. 8 months and 4 months) so when we go to the vet we go in
sets of two. For two ferrets to get the 3rd distemper shot and the rabies
shot is $98.00. $24 for the first ferret exam, $20.00 for the second ferret
exam, $16 for the distemper and $11 for the rabies. This is just the 3rd
round of shots, there are two office visit before this that require just
distemper shot which is $76.00 each visit. I live in Massachusetts, right
outside of the Worcester Area. My vet clinic is a wonderful place (my 3
dogs and parrot also go to the same clinic) I have heard some horror stories
about vets and ferrets in this area due to the fact that ferrets have only
been a "legal" pet since March 7, 1996. I find the vet bills high
(especially since I have been there every month since August) but... I know
that my angels are well worth every cent. To have a healty ferret is to
have a happy ferret!!! And I do have 6 wonderful, happy and healty ferrets.

Would love to hear from anyone who wants to chat regarding our loved ones...

Enjoy!!!!!
-Sue
