This is my first response to the FML.  I have been reading and learning for
about 4 months.  Re: Catherine Shaffer's letter on 2-3-97.  I think she
should find a good shelter for Mithy.  Catherine made reference to waiting
to see if Mithy comes into heat and then getting her spayed.  Why wait?  Get
her spayed now and see if that changes her behavior.  I personally think her
other options are a bit radical.  Defanging or euthanasia seem to be rather
permanent solutions.  Get Mithy spayed and find a good shelter.  Thanks for
listening.  I do enjoy reading the FML.  even if I do have a very hard time
getting on AOL.
