Obscure Ferret Reference
 
There was a show called *Great Escapes of WWII* last Sunday night on the
Arts & Entertainment (A&E) cable channel.  It showcased Stalag Luft III, a
German military prison of war camp, which the movie *The Great Escape* was
loosely based on.
 
The German guards who were responsible for escape tunnel search/prevention
were referred to as *ferrets* by the prisoners.
