A Stampede

How can 12 little ferrets
sound like a full blown stampede
when you open the door and
they realize they've been
freed.
They run throught the house
So full of Glee
happy to attack anything that moves
even me.
Seems in the day they are
so quiet,
I say they are trouble,
but no one buys it.
But then comes the night
And one question I often repeat
"Who put shoes on my fuzzies feet?!"
