A little tidbit for ferrets wanting to shed a couple extra ounces and tone
up?  Mine found an ingenius way to do it.  A tennis ball!!.  This is one of
the fuzzies favorite toys and even though I have 2 for them, they usually
decide they ALL want to play with one at the same time.  (I have 4 fuzzies -
for now :>) I noticed that the girls have a game that seems to be more of an
exercise than anything else.  After hunching the ball to a comfortable spot,
they will lay down on their side and then proceed to "roll" the ball against
their bellies with their back and front paws.  They can really get it going
too!!  Needless to say, they are both trimming their back half quite well as
well as give us a big smile to watch them at this game.  Even the boys have
started to pick this up.
