I was just curious what people pay on the average for a normal vet visits
for their ferrets, including check up (ear mites, teeth, nail cutting etc.)
and a distemper annual shot. I used to go to a vet (used him for 20 years
with a cat) and he seemed fairly good with ferrets. He charges $29 for the
whole works. I recently went to Ned Horowitz in Massapequa NY, who was
recommended to me by someone on the FML, and he charged 35$ JUST for the
exam.

My ferret wasn't in need of shots at the time, so I held off. I imagine the
bill would have been AT LEAST $50 total with the shots. Is this a little
high or is the other vet a little low?

Thanks in advance for your response!
