I was reading my "Dressage & CT" (horse) magazine the other day. In an
article about driving horses "the reins are run through the FERRETS"
now what is a FERRET doing on a horse harness? How can they keep the
fuzzies still and why are they running the reins THROUGH the fuzzbuts??? I
was visualizing a pair of matching black sables harnessed to the top of the
harness saddle with reins running through the ferret harness loops <GGG>!
The next month's issue had a correction: "in the November isssue a
regrettable mistake was introduced during spellingchecking. Instead of
TERRETS (the rings on the tope of the harness saddle for the reins) the text
reads FERRETS, which, obviously, is very wrong. We appologize..."
whew, am glad the ferrest are ok too!
Nan
Superscooper - don't even THINK of running reins through me!
Hershey - me either!
Argento - the very idea!
