So sorry about poor Tabitha.
 
I just wanted to inform you that x-rays are not always conclusive regarding
blockages.  Foam, string, and other 'not so dense' materials **DO NOT** show
up on x-rays!!!!!!!  Your vet should have mentioned this!  I am not saying
your ferret 'did' have a blockage, but despite the x-ray results you saw, it
was still a distinct possiblity.
