I would like to warn any potential ferret owners of a disreputable pet shop
in the Carson City Area.  Three weeks ago I purchased a 1 year old male who
had been neutered and descented.  I had only had him about a week when I saw
a distinct problem with losing weight and loss of appetite.  I took him to a
local vet who kept him for three days (and $700.00).  He was released to
come home and after two days home started having seizures.  I rushed him to
an emergency hospital and today had to make the extremely hard decision to
euthanize him for a virus that he had when I purchased him.  I guess the
name of the store should have tipped me off so I'll tip you off.  DON'T SHOP
SOMETHING FISHY in Carson City, NV.  And so long Poncho I'll miss you!
