I have only been on this list a few weeks and had seen several refrences to
Marshall Farms.  I have heard so much about them I was fixing to write a
letter to the FML and ask what was a matter with Marshall Farms.  Yesterday
I was nosing around on a few ferret wab pages and saw a hedder for Marshal
Farms, I instatly clicked on in to see what it was.  My question was soon
answed with more then I wanted.  Whats NOT wrong with Marshall Farms?!  I am
totally outraged!!!
 
The page was stories upon stories about the abuse and neglect of there
ferrets.  As I read I became so physicaly mad and ill I had to get off.  I
did take the time to write down the IRL for this address.  Here it is ( I

I also hope thats right.  I incourage all of you to go check it out.  I know
this seems as a long shot but I am determined to try.  I want to do
something about this.  There is no way we can be ignored if I continue.
 
*** If you can all please help*** I need as much info as I can about this
place: If you know ANY places to look anywhere let me know, I want cold hard
facts.  numbers ect.  SHELTER OWNERS can u help with any numbers of the % of
ferrets u see that are from Marshall Farms?  Marshall Farms ferret owners:
Send Info on your ferrets temperment, any health issues ANYTHING that can be
linked to Marshall Farms.
 
I know this is a major long shot but anything will help.  I am determined to
alert officals, the public, anyone who cares about this place.  If there is
anyone in the defense of Marshall Farms please let me know, I want to talk
and dicusss what I have seen.  I am not here to destroy this company, just
to comply informatin.  I just want to know if this information is true and
if its being fixed in any way.
 
My question is how we can allow this senseless abuse to continue?  How can
we know and see information like this a close out eyes and look the other
way?  If these remarks are actullay true why has the company allowed this
continue?
 
Granted I may be a 100% wrong and I want you to call me on it.  I am
remaining netural.  Please help inform me.  I am very willing to listen.

P.S  Did u know they sell 10% of there ferrets to medical research labs?
That dosent seem like a lot but when u consider how many ferrets they
breed a year thats a lot!
 
Also when Marshall Farms was confronted what do they do with there breeders
after there 3 years are up...they refused to answer.... =-(
