Bev Fox has written a section on finding a missing ferret, compiled from
suggestions in the FML and her own ideas, which I'll be putting into the
general FAQ in the next revision, and making available from Ferret Central
sooner than that.
 
Of course, anybody who wants to write up their own booklet about any aspect
of ferret ownership and sell it still can, but IMO, getting good information
into the hands of those who need it, and thus hopefully -preventing- ferrets
from ending up in shelters in the first place, is at least as good as using
the information to fund the shelters afterward.
